Cindy Crabb has been publishing
Doris since 1991. Her stories of self and experience reach a level
of intimacy and common ground achieved by few other perzine authors.
Doris #25 was released earlier this year, and Doris: an Anthology
1991-2001 was released in 2005 by Microcosm Publishing. Cindy is also
the editor of Support zine, a collection of stories about surviving abuse.
Vanessa Davis's first collection of exhuberant and hilarious diary comics Spaniel Rage
was published in 2005 by Buenaventura Press to popular acclaim; and she continues to self-publish further installments while simultaneously creating
comics and illustrations for the likes of the New York Times, Kramer's Ergot, Stuck in the Middle, Dear Diary, and many more.
